June Kathleen Scott

June Kathleen Scott, of Rochester, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the age of 96. June was born on August 4, 1929, to James and Anna (Schmidt) Scott and raised in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She graduated from Mount Clemens High School, Class of 1947. Throughout her career, June worked for Mount Clemens Community Schools, American Airlines, Parke Davis Pharmaceutical, and Mass Mutual Insurance. She was a long-time member of both the OPC Social & Activity Center and St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester. In addition, June enjoyed many years of active membership with the Detroit Yacht Club. June was truly one in a million, a fascinating and unique woman. She was well-traveled, loved the arts, and embraced a healthy lifestyle. Even in difficult times, June maintained her positive and grateful spirit. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved meaningful conversation. Elegant, personable, and thoughtful, June was beloved by many over the years. She often ended her conversations with her signature phrase: “Have a special day in some special way!” June will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
