Katy Lynne Dougherty

Katy Lynne Dougherty, age 38, of Waterford Township, Michigan passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Katy was born in Flint, Michigan, dear daughter of Cheryle Sredich and James Dougherty (Grace Thomas); dear sister of Bridget Coghlan (Ross Coghlan) and Derek Lessiter (Christy Lessiter); dear aunt of Carter, Leo, Ariah Coghlan and Kash Lessiter; dear niece of Peggy Dougherty Dahl (Kenny Dahl), Jack Dougherty, Nancy Dougherty and William Haas; dear cousin of Randy Reiss (Margaret Kranyak), Alex Reiss (Allison Reiss), Amy Dougherty Bradley (Sam Bradley) and Ryan Dahl; dear second cousin of Jackson, Arlo Reiss, and Tennyson, Declan Bradley; dear step sister of Demetrius Thomas.

Katy's light always shined bright; she lit up any room she came into. Her smile was infectious. She loved her family and Coco, her cat. She was funny, giving, giggly and witty. She loved her job as a hair stylist; it filled her soul. She was an artist and she loved music and really got down to the beat. She considered her friends as though they were family. Family was everything to Katy. She was truly loved because she was love!

A visitation for Katy will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307. A visitation will also take place on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at Noon at Pixley Funeral Home.
