Laura Ellen Gerard

Laura was born on February 2, 1965. She passed surrounded by her loving family, with her devoted spouse, Kevin Gerard, and their daughter, Kathleen Gerard, by her side.

Laura found great joy in spending time with family and friends. She had a deep love for playing the cello, relaxing in the warmth of the sun at the beach, and planning memorable gatherings. She was also a respected and valued employee at Volkswagen Group of America.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Gerard; her daughter, Kathleen Gerard; her sisters, Amy (Doug) Vissman and Donna (Rev. Andrew) Field; and her nephew, Brandon Gerard.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Lorne Rusk and Agnes Rusk.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 26, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester, Michigan. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10: a.m. Immediately following the service, a procession will take place to White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
