

Larry was born to William and Virginia Ferris, on January 27, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Larry spent his childhood in the greater Cincinnati area, where he attended Purcell High School, and graduated in 1969. Larry also attended The University of Miami Ohio, where he studied the arts. Larry had a career in the music industry, specifically in the record industry, he worked for various music companies over the years.
Larry met the love of his life, Cynthia Ferris (nee Osky), when introduced by mutual friends, and the two were married on June 5, 1976, spending 49 wonderful years together. The two moved to Michigan in 1991, and have lived their ever since.
Larry was a phenomenal soccer coach, over the years he coached numerous teams including Rochester High School, Oxford High School, and Royal Oak High School. Though he never played himself, he had a love for the game and loved coaching his players. Larry also had a love for the arts, especially drawing and painting. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife Cindy, his children: Allison (Chris Scott) Ferris, Erin (Sebastian) Moser, and Brian (Christe) Ferris, his grandchildren: Oliver, Kayla, Kenzie, Brayden, and Keegan, his brother William E. Ferris Jr., and his cherished grand dogs: Carl and Noonan.
