I carry Linda into my life with my mind and heart.  As childhood friends we created forts in the fields near our houses which included secret codes, played baseball with my brother Jerry on our dirt road, learned to ride bikes,  swam at Walnut lake on summer nights and laughed together.

It was a simple time that filled us with joy.  And, oh yes, riding bikes to the Dairy Queen to get that treasured ice cream cone...then on to the school swings to talk and feel free together.

On rainy days we play acted the movie, "Singing in the Rain" dancing and singing in our garage.  Now on rainy days I sit on my back porch remembering that precious time, so carefree and joyful. 
I will carry this with me til my end of days.  Loving you, Linda,  Rest in Sweet Peace.

Linda and I were in the Rochester Junior Women's club together.  She did so much for the Rochester Community.  Our deepest condolences to the family.  

Jim, Scott and Family,
My heart goes out to you.  I loved Linda.  She was my childhood playmate.  We played baseball in the street; she was a wonderful athlete, we built forts in the weeds, and would swim on summer nights at Walnut Lake.  Precious memories I will hold close.

Most of all Linda was a special out going person who never met a stranger with a capacity to make you feel welcome.

So long ago yet so vivid and enduring.  Please accept my heartfelt condolences in the loss of your precious Mother, Linda.  I wish you peace.

As a fraternity brother of Steve and Scott I met their mother in the late 80’s. She was known by all Lambda Chi Alpha brothers of Ferris State as
“ The Linda”. Needless to say, she was never short of words to encourage anyone she came in contact with. Also, by chance, if she didn’t agree with something, her opinion was concise and direct...... one of the many things I loved about this beautiful, bold soul. You see, I was one of the fortunate ones on “ The Linda’s “ team and thanked God every day for that. Godspeed Mrs. Adams, I truly enjoyed everything about you! Cheers to you and Mr. Adams! Both wonderful Angels now in paradise!
You will be missed dearly. RIP 

Daisy was one of my biggest advocates growing up and continues to change my life for the better even from a distance. Whether it was starting a new sport, making big decisions, or just celebrating small achievements, Daisy was always the person you wanted to talk to. She embodied the principle of generosity and love. Her kindness and good humor touched everyone that surrounded her. Her laugh and smile could flip a room. We all are extremely lucky to have known her.   

I don't think I ever spent time with Linda that I didn't feel good, share a laugh or a fun memory. She made my incoming time as President of Rochester Junior Woman's Club so much fun, and encouraged me along the way.
Loved how she always referred to her dear husband as "Jim Adams," not just "Jim." 
 She was a comforter and a cheerleader, always giving you her full attention. May many pleasant memories and awareness of her faith bring comfort to her family.
Rest in peace, friend!

Linda had such an infectious laugh.  She had a zest for life and just being with her made you feel better.  You will be missed Linda!


We will cherish the memories of Mrs. Adams positive energy, warm smile, and wonderful laugh!  She had a special gift to always remember our children and their activities.  We will miss her warm spirit!

Remembering Linda brings to mind nothing but smiles. We join so many who will miss her dearly. She was a role model for loving kindness, and a wealth of positive and supportive words, thoughts and deeds. Always the first to offer encouragement, support, understanding and prayer, when Linda heard of a friend dealing with a difficult situation, she’d be there for them. You’d feel that empathy in every interaction with her. Linda remembered everything going on in your life, and asked for updates on specific events and people each time you visited with her. This genuine caring made you feel like you were important to her. She leaves a hole in our extended family and our community. We’ll miss her hugs.
