Margaret Anne Staffeld

Born on April 5, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, to Edward Staffeld and Ruth (Deinzer) Staffeld, Margaret lived a life filled with curiosity, kindness, and caring.

Margaret was a talented X-Ray and Special Procedures Tech, serving the community of Trinity Health Oakland for almost 40 years prior to her retirement. She spent many years as her mother's companion, and they traveled extensively together - Hawaii, Alaska, and the Pacific Northwest and Canada are just a few locations. In later years, she became Mom's caretaker, helping her achieve many good years before passing at almost 102 years of age. Margaret loved to plan celebrations and parties. In her later years, she did not host many, but she always had a hand (or two!) in the planning and preparing.

Margaret, a life-long Lutheran, was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester, Michigan. Her love of church and belief in the Lord was evident throughout her life.

Margaret will be remembered for her warm smile and great love for her family. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruth Staffeld; her step-sister Marcheta (Richard) Fritz; step-sister Marcella (Robert) LaReau; and step-brother Paul (Joan) Staffeld. Margaret is survived by her sisters, Kathryn (Jerry) Bryan, and Vicki (Rocco) Pisto, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews- Richard (Deborah) Fritz, Ronald Fritz, Judy (Dan) Quye, Nancy (Michael) Martinez, Charles (Denise) Staffeld, Laura (Ray) Ingham, Brian Staffeld, Jamie LaReau, Lesley (Christopher) Bradley, Jerry (Tracy) Bryan Jr., Jonathan (Jenny) Bryan, Philip Pisto, and Virginia Pisto. Margaret especially adored her great-nephews and niece, Jackson Bryan, Bennett Bryan, and Kennedy Lynn Bryan.

Visitation will take place on Friday, March 27th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI, 48307. Funeral will take place on Saturday March 28th at 11:00 AM at Pixley Funeral Home.
