Dear mother of Nancy Miller and Susan Raymond and caring grandmother of Sara and Kevin (Jaime) Miller. Martha was predeceased by her parents Wheeler and Roxanne (Drummond) Wetzel and her siblings Anna Rice and Iva Mae Gifford.
Martha was born in Wallace, West Virginia on January 28, 1924. She graduated from Wallace High School and married Eugene Miller Jr. in Columbus Ohio where Martha worked to put her husband through veterinarian school. She and Eugene moved to Westland Michigan where they raised their family. Martha was one of the first women to work at the River Rouge Ford plant as a secretary.
Martha loved her family, Tiger baseball, and college football.
Martha’s family will welcome all for a visitation on Friday July 27, 2018 from 4 - 8pm and on Saturday from 11am until the time of funeral service at 12:00pm (noon) at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan.
