Michael Cass Wachoski

Michael “Mike” Cass Wachoski age 61 of Rochester Hills passed away on February 9, 2014. Mike served in the United States Navy; he recently retired from DuPont where he worked as a research and development technician. Mike had a pilot license and enjoyed flying in his spare time. Mike was a loyal friend to many, he had a great sense of humor, and loved to make people laugh. Mike was an avid reader who especially liked historical nonfiction. He was also a space aficionado and a big Detroit Tigers fan. Dearest Husband of Theresa. Dear father of Michelle Smith, Bryan Smith, and Sarah Smith. Loving grandfather of Sophie Smith. Mike is also survived by his siblings Elizabeth Kovie and Margaret (Scott) Howard, Nephew Raymond Kovie, and Nieces Laura Kovie, Amanda Birkenhauer, Kaitlyn Howard, and great niece Sidney Birkenhauer . Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 12, 2014 from 3-8pm at Pixley Funeral Home 322 W. University Dr. Rochester MI, 48307 Additional visitation will be held on Thursday from 10am until the time of service at 11am at the funeral home.
