

Born on March 5, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, Olga spent the majority of her life in Troy, where she built a loving home and deep roots within her community.
Olga was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her brother, John. She is survived by her sister, Tania; her brother, Peter; her sons, Gregory (Teresa) and Jeffrey (Kristin); her cherished grandchildren, Anastasia (Scott), Alexander (Emma), Jacob, and Carley; and her great-granddaughter Sloane. She took immense pride in her family and found her greatest joy in their accomplishments and happiness.
A woman of intelligence and conviction, Olga was an avid reader with a lifelong love of learning. She found peace and fulfillment in tending to her garden. A strong and principled woman, she held firm in her beliefs and was proud to be a feminist, valuing independence, education, and spirited discourse throughout her life.
Her legacy lives on in the generations she helped shape and inspire. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A visitation will be held on February 26, 2026, from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 West University Drive, Rochester, MI 48307 with a funeral service beginning at 4:30 pm.
A committal service is scheduled for February 27, 2026, at 11:00 am at Evergreen Cemetery, 19807 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48203.
