Patricia Ann Snover passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in her home at The Barclay Independent Living facility in Little River, South Carolina, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 88 years old.
Patty was born on June 15, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, to Anthony and Vera (“Susie”) Pauloski. At the age of three, she moved with her family to Rochester, Michigan, where she spent most of her life. The youngest of three children, she was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Calvin and Dean Pauloski; her first husband, William “Bill” Twydell; her son-in-law, Craig Juleff (Wendy’s partner); and her beloved dog, Kirby.
After graduating from Rochester High School, Patty married her childhood sweetheart, Bill Twydell. Together, they raised two daughters, Deborah and Wendy. She worked for many years as a receptionist at McCutcheon, Brown, and Hardy medical office, where her kind heart and welcoming smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met. After 35 years of marriage, Patty and Bill divorced.
Later in life, Patty found love again with another schoolmate, Gerald Snover. They married in 1994 and shared many joyful years together—traveling, crafting, and enjoying the company of family and friends. Their marriage blended two families, and Patty lovingly welcomed three stepdaughters into her life: Debbie (David) Geddings, Lisa (George) Cannon, and Holly (Joe) Sturm, and their families: Chrissy, Brittany, Rachael, Boomer, Casey, Camden, Kylie, and Matthew, along with six great-grandchildren.
After Gerry’s passing in 2004, Patty became deeply involved with the Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) in Rochester. She stayed active by walking the track each morning, volunteering, attending events, and enjoying coffee and conversation with her dear friend Darlene and a wonderful circle of friends.
In 2022, Patty moved to The Barclay Independent Living facility in Little River, South Carolina, to be closer to her family. She loved her apartment—beautifully decorated by her children—and quickly formed new friendships in her community.
Patty was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughters: Deborah (Keith) Parkett and Wendy Andrews; grandchildren: Katie (Carrie) Andrews, Corey Andrews, Darcy (Jeff) Horton, Christine (Charlie) Abod, Michon (Dennis) Kochanowski; great-grandchildren: Harlow Horton; Brodie, Briar, Finn and Kaiden Andrews; Abby and Aiden Kochanowski; Lauren, Rebecca, Shannon, and Barrett Ewing.
She also leaves behind her cherished stepdaughters and their families, and many friends who will miss her deeply.
Patty will be remembered for her strength, warmth, sense of humor, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. Her legacy is one of resilience, joy, and connection — a life beautifully lived and dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Pixley Funeral Home located at 322 W. University Drive in Rochester, Michigan. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am with the service following at 11:00 am. Interment will take place the following morning at Mount Avon Cemetery in Rochester.
