Robert Russell Craun

Born April 12th 1932 passed peacefully at home July 16th 2015.

Son to the late Russell Doras Craun and Adalene Marie (Pittman)

Loving brother to Margaret (Peg) Louise Walters (Craun), Don Walters,

Doras Marie Hucul (Craun), Arnold Hucul, Dear friend Roger, Richard David Craun, and Beverly Ann Craun.

Robert was a decorated Air Force Veteran and a retired MI State Trooper.

Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and greatest grandfather.

He is predeceased by his wife Barbara Lee Craun and son Daniel Thomas Craun

Loving father to Barbara Lynn Craun, Rhonda Lee Weiner (Craun), George Weiner, Cathy Jopek (Craun), Dan Jopek, Linda Sue Dort (Craun), Robert Michael Craun, Karen Craun (Hoffman), David Russell Craun, Linda Craun (DiPonio).

Grandfather to Amy, Sheri, Tina and Brian, Danielle and Peter, Christopher, Shawn, Laura and Mike, Jason and Amber, Dayna and Rick, Michelle and Terry, Brenton and Christina, Kari, Sara, Konstantine, Danny, Geordin, Kelli, Quade, and Jonathan.

Greatest Grandpa to Caleb, Julia, Melanie, Elisabeth, Samantha, Liam, Destiny, Sabrina, Christopher, Jackson, Bobby, Paige, Kaylin, Griffin, Brendon, Appy, Ashley, David, Julianna, Jacob, Alex, Andrew, Christina, Payton, Kayleigh, Aubree, Chase, Austin, and Ethan.

Robert generously donated his body to science. U of M greatly accepted his body for research of up to 18 months. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly MI which will include a 21 gun salute.
