Robert J. Taylor, age 76, of Rochester Hills and Royal Oak, passed away October 20, 2018. He was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on October 7, 1942. Bob was married to Barbara Kay (nee Perreault) Taylor on May 13, 1967. He had a career in plumbing for Plumbers Local #98. Bob was a member of the American Legion and had a passion for motorcycles, camping, hunting, and family. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Dave; and his sister, Charlene. Bob is survived by his wife, Barbara Kay Taylor; his children, Bob “Skip” (Laurie), Todd, Jeff and Alicia; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Hank, Kenne, Amanda, and Nick; his four great grandchildren; and his sister, Diane Turner. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 4-8 PM, with a Rosary Service at 7 PM, at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10 AM, In-State at 9:30 AM, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood Ave., Rochester, MI. Burial will take place later in the afternoon at 2:30 PM, please arrive by 2:15 PM if you will be attending, at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI.
