Rosemarie lived a long and meaningful life in Michigan, marked by devotion to her husband, family, and faith. A graduate of Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic high school, she maintained that faith throughout her life. As a young woman, she studied at what is now Center for Creative Studies in Detroit and worked as a designer with General Motors, where she met her beloved husband. They were married for over 60 years, a testament to their enduring partnership and commitment.
She enjoyed living in southeast Michigan, summers at the cottage on Torch Lake in northern Michigan, and winters in Phoenix, Arizona. She was an avid traveler, horseback rider, and skier, and enjoyed gatherings of friends and family filled with laughter, good food, and a bit of wine.
Above all, Rosemarie was a devoted mother to her three children, who were the center of her life. She is survived by her three children, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, along with many loving nieces and nephews with whom she shared a close and special bond. She will be deeply missed by her entire extended family, and all will carry forward her and her husband’s values and memory.
Her remembrance is planned for April 25th at Pixley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10-11:00AM, Catholic services at 11:00 AM, and a luncheon on site immediately following. The Pixley Funeral Home is located at 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI 48307. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
