Scott "Scotty" Alan Goetz, a cherished resident of Rochester Hills, Michigan, passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on January 17, 1962, Scotty was known for his deep love for the Lord and his ability to spread sunshine everywhere he went.
Scotty dedicated 39 years of his career to working in the produce department at Meijer. His commitment and hard work were greatly appreciated by colleagues and customers alike.
Family was everything to Scotty, and he loved talking to family and friends on the phone. He also enjoyed sporting events with friends and was an avid football fan. Church was a source of great comfort and support through his life.
He is survived by his sister Sue McCalden (Steve); brother Mark (Kim) Goetz; multiple nieces and nephews along with great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Jacqueline; father Robert; sister Pamela; and brother David.
Visitation services will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan, on December 3, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Another visitation will take place at Kensington Church, 1825 E. Square Lake Road, Troy, Michigan, on December 5, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm at the same location.
Scotty will be laid to rest at Christian Memorial Gardens West, located at 521 E. Hamlin Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Scotty's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, though they know they will see him again.
