Susan Lorraine Zilkie

Susan was born in Utica, Michigan, daughter of the late Harley and Margaret Harned. She graduated from Rochester High School and later married David Zilkie in 1973, who preceded her in death in 1993. Susan was a member of Five Points Community Church where she grew in faith and knowledge of her Savior. Her hearts desire was for her family to also follow Christ and to pass on the legacy of faith to her grandchildren.

She loved to sew and read, but most enjoyed spending time with her family.

Susan is survived by: children Heather (Bob) Ward, Jeremy (Julie) Zilkie and Katie (Kent) Fehribach; grandchildren Brad (Anna) Ward, Grace Ward, Ryan Ward, Aaron Ward, Kara Ward, Liliana Ward, Emelia Ward, David Zilkie, Jonathan Zilkie, Caroline Zilkie, Ezekiel Zilkie, Selah Zilkie, Elijah Zilkie, Abigail Zilkie, Vivian Zilkie, Ruby Fehribach and Violet Fehribach. Also survived by her brother David (Gail) Harned, sister Christine Stanley and numerous nieces & nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024, 11 a.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive in Rochester. The family will receive friends Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, 10 a.m. until time service. Interment to follow at Christian Memorial Cemetery.
