Mr.  Losey  and family because of personal reasons I will not be able to make the trip down but please know you all are in my prays and heart the lose of Vickie is a bitter sweet i know she is not in pain and she is going to be with all the other great people we have lost in our family and is in a better place time will soft the pain of what you feel now and soon will be all good memories  god bless you all

My sincere sympathy  to her son Matthew, his wife and grand children. Also to the rest of the her family members. I remember enjoying our talks at Old Port. We would run into her and Uncle Lauren at dinner time.  We would visit with them for a while. She was always so sweet and caring. I was glad we had those special moments. Vickie had an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to enjoy life and travel to many places.  I too have known Vickie for more than 40 years. There was a group of us that met at work and enjoyed doing things together: tennis, skiing, playing cards, eating out and especially having theme birthday parties.  Vickie & Jeff had a surprise 40th birthday party for me at their home.  Everyone was to dress as an old person. They even had an outfit for me to wear all night.  Half way through the evening I took the outfit off but they put it back on me.  We played a variety of fun games and danced the night away. What a fun and memorial time that was!

Vickie left us too soon, but she is now at peace.  She can visit all her friends and family that are in Heaven with her.  My deepest sympathy to all of Vickie’s family and especially to Matthew, his wife and children.  She so loved you!

She and I and others in our group of friends did many things together.   Very great and fun memories of parties at her home, especially celebrating my 40th birthday showing off my new cowgirl boots (picture) and many other fun times. My heartfelt sympathy to Matthew and the Losey family.  For over 40 years Vickie and I have shared many of life's experiences.  We visited Toronto, Mackinac Island, Traverse City, Chicago, Miami, Las Vegas, California and many, many activities around town.  Once we went to the Fox Theater and had balcony seats and through the performance, we jumped seats till we were on the main floor.  I was blessed to have known her and shared so many ordinary outings with her to the Eastern Market - which she loved, movies, The Village, fine dining at new restaurants, euchre parties --- she enjoyed playing cards and, our many trips to the Detroit Hunt and Fish Club with our "gang" --- all of this such a blessing and it was only one side of Vickie, she was an outstanding mother and special ed teacher.  And the Losey family treated me as a member of their family, inviting me to weddings, showers, birthdays and graduations and card parties and especially, to those holiday week-ends in Lexington with the quaint cabins on the cliff overlooking the beach and lake .  So my friend, may you find rest and peace in the arms of the Lord and after a few days of rest be renewed so you can be the party planner in Heaven.  Will cherish the memories we created and when I think of you, it will always be with a smile.
