Lentz, Violet, age 97, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016. She was born in Hamtramck, MI on Feb.6, 1919. Violet married Rex Lentz in Detroit on Sept. 22, 1943. She was a secretary for Rochester High School for 14 years and she was a member of University Presbyterian Church. Violet is preceded in death by her husband Rex and her granddaughter Bethany Dolan. She is survived by her children Rex (Gail) Lentz, Timothy (Diana) Lentz, Laurie (Robert) Davis, and Elizabeth (Michael) Dolan; and her grandchildren Andrew, Sarah, Adam, and Bradley Davis, and Jeffrey Dolan. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 19, 2016, from 2 - 7 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI In-state Monday, June 20, 2016, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., at University Presbyterian Church, 1385 S. Adams Rd., Rochester Hills, MI.
