He was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on May 12, 1945, and attended Jackson Memorial High School, Massillon, Ohio. He served in the Navy before achieving his undergraduate degree in Kentucky and later, his MBA from Michigan State University. Bill’s engineering career took him to Kentucky, New York, and Missouri. He then moved to Michigan in Human Resources.
He married Janice Davies on February 6, 1998. His love for the outdoors, golf, and reading, and his commitments to his wonderful dogs over the years, gave him joy. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Jan; mother, Irene Williams; sister, Donna Wells and her family; aunt, Janet Orange, and her family; and many cousins residing in several states.
