Patti - What a wonderful daughter you have been.  Your mom was so lucky to have you by her side all these years.  It's got to be hard to say good bye to the physical part of your mom so close to Christmas.  But it will be a happier one for her.  I have many dance memories of both you and your mom.  She was always so proud of you and so willing to do whatever she could for you and your dancing.  My love and prayers to you Patti.  May you have a blessed Christmas.  Love, Bonnie

Dear Patty and David,
Our sincere condolences.I want you to know we will never forget Auntie Joy, and I am saddened by her passing.I know Patty, you have been taking good care of your mom for a long time.I am also sorry for any other grief you have gone through.(I know in the few years past, things were a bit complicted for you and I am sorry for that too.
What I remember most about Auntie Joy is the neighborhood pool schedule in the 60's/70's. I will never see that again in my lifetime. I remember her sending me with you guys to Vacation Bible School at the Lutheran Church on Shelby Rd.....when I got my ears pierced and then lost my earring in the pool,... You and your mom coming to mine and AJ's wedding, and our  confirmation with my mom and Aunt Yvonne. I will never forget her willingness to take care of our dogs when Aj and I went to visit my father. 
I also remember her having me, (AJ too) over for Christmas Dinners in the back room with Prime Rib and Bread Pudding (w/yummy sauce), which I've never tasted it as good as she made it,and she always had hand knitted booties, scarves, or hats to choose from before you left her house. Visiting/taking and picking up Tina at the horse stalls. She also had a way of finding the humor in almost anything. Patty, you have that same sense of humor.
She was a good friend to my mom and dad when we were kids and also as we grew older. She was like a second mom to me and other kids too. I remember alot about her and the neighborhood 'holiday' celebrations, ice skating pond, the infamous bike accident/injury with my cousin, and my conversations with her at a rough time in my life. Those days are gone, but the memory of them will always remain fresh in my mind.
David, I remember how your mom helped with with getting my own transportation-....from you..... the sky blue 65' Ford Falcon (or was it Fairlane?).Well it was a decent car and she made sure I got it. 
I have more memories of dance recitals, picnics, bus stop episodes, parades, and those Christmas Dinners. She will truely be missed. I think of her and those days from time to time and can't help but smile, and I am thankful for having the opportunity of growing-up with your mom in my life, not just in childhood past, but also in the recent past. It has and is a blessing to have known her.

Joy, we go back many many years and I was so blessed to know and have you in my life...I remember the most about you Patti's dance recitals you taking me there and how proud you were of Patti...You both  made me want to dance.
