McCarthy, Yvonne, age 83, of Auburn Hills, died October 10, 2011; wife of the late Harry; loving mother of Gerald (Debbie) McCarthy, Lynda (Bill) Wilder and the late Amy Kathleen McCarthy; also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and her cat, Maggie. Yvonne retired from Avondale Schools as the manager of the Kitchen; she was a member of the New Covenant Church of Auburn Hills and the Red Hat Society; Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday at New Covenant Church, 4217 N. Squirrel Rd., Auburn Hills; visitation Thursday 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester.
