She is predeceased by her ex-husband, Phillip H. Gupton; and her son, Phillip Craig Gupton.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, G. Carol Clement; three grandchildren, Timothy (Ivonne) Clement, Kari (Jack)Trimer , Candace (Mark) Crawford; six great- grandchildren, Michael (Katie) Clement, Sarah Clement, Tommy (Kassy) Baker, Samantha (Trevor) Arilotta, Tori Crawford, and Dayton Crawford; and five great- great-grandchildren, Lacey Baker, Elli Baker, Uriah Arilotta, Elise Arilotta, and Gabriel Clement.
Dorothy was born in Clarksville, Tennessee on January 4, 1927. She worked as a civil employee in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and retired, after eighteen years, from the University of Tennessee Medical College in Memphis, TN.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, February 11th from 11AM – 1PM at the funeral home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Avenue, followed by a prayer service at 1PM. Entombment will be held in Tennessee and will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family c/o Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home.
