She was born in 1947, the daughter of Huron Philip Gupton and Dorothy Lee Gupton in Clarksville, Tennessee. Geneva was raised in Clarksville and would graduate from Clarksville high school. In 1964 she met and married Thomas Clement, together they raised three beloved children. She is survived by her son, Timothy Clement, and two daughters, Kari Trimmer and Candace Crawford, five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Geneva worked in hotel management and hospitality in Nashville, Tennessee on the famed Music Row. She loved managing the hotel and event planning for many different people. During this time, she was able to meet many celebrities that were coming through town, which she greatly enjoyed. In 2003 she retired and moved to Rochester to be closer to her family. She had a great love of history and always enjoyed learning as much as she could. Her greatest hobby was researching and documenting the ancestry of her family.
Being a believer in Jesus Christ, she attended Spencerport Bible Church and enjoyed many friends there. When she was ill, she would watch the services on Zoom or YouTube. She also loved to see people during those services. We find comfort knowing she is now at peace in God’s loving embrace.
