Joseph M. Bailey Jr, 81, of Rochester, NY and the Villages of Florida, peacefully entered into rest on May 27, 2023 with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife Gail Bailey, sons James and Joseph, daughter Christine, son in law Keith Clar, and grandchildren Michael, Patricia, Alana Rose, and Joseph.
Joe was a machine repairman amongst many other trades such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and masonry. He loved building projects, fixing virtually anything, cooking, family gatherings, playing cards, motorcycle riding, feeding the birds, nurturing any animal in need, telling jokes, but most of all he enjoyed helping friends and neighbors and hoped he could teach as much as he could along the way. He wanted to share this quote, "We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time."
There will be no visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
