Bob was born in Rochester, NY on December 24, 1939, the son of the late Frederick and Agnes Ebertz.
Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force, serving from 1961-1965. He enjoyed a career working for AT&T and a post retirement job at Frontier Communications.
He enjoyed coaching his children’s softball and baseball teams, and making homemade Maple Syrup. Old Forge, NY held a special place in Bob’s heart, as he enjoyed many vacations with family there over the years. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees, and loved music by the Beach Boys.
He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Ebertz; his children, Robert Ebertz, Dawn (David) Fitts, David (Alissa) Ebertz, and Mark Ebertz; grandchildren, Izzy Ebertz and Alex Fitts; and brother, John (Joyce) Ebertz, as well as several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 4-7PM at the Funeral Home of Alvah Halloran & Son, 2125 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at St. Pius Tenth Church, 3010 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. Bob will be laid to rest in St. Pius Cemetery, with military honors.
