Wayne H. Green

He was predeceased by his parents, Irene and Ray and his brother Carl. He is survived by his devoted wife Jenny, his children Wayne Jr (Jen), Shana, Katie (John), his grandchildren Olivia, Riley and Dylan, his siblings Brian (Randy), Sandra (Wendell) and Mark as well as many nieces and nephews, several cousins and many friends.

Wayne Green was born in Massena, N.Y., attending Massena Central and continuing his education at SUNY Canton where he received a degree in HVAC, ultimately leading to his lifetime career with UA Local 13.

Putting his family first, Wayne was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Along with his passion of family first, came his love for sports. Wayne passed along his values of sportsmanship, dedication, hard work and leadership through coaching his children and grandchildren. His favorite teams were the Mets, the Jets and the Bruins. Yet he has a soft spot for the Buffalo Bills.

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday April 26, 2025 from 1-3PM at the Funeral Home of Alvah Halloran & Son, 2125 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00PM.
