

BADEN
Amelia Martinez, 83 of Baden, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 while under the compassionate care of Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. She was born April 17, 1934 in McKeesport, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Niedzwiecki) Zaradzki. Amelia was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid gardener, both vegetables and flowers, who enjoyed sharing “flower starts” with all of her neighbors. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, baking and scrap booking. Family members will forever cherish her hand-made quilts and remember the taste of her delicious baked goods, secret meatloaf recipe and tasty tortillas. She had a great sense of humor and was quick with sharp wit. Amelia was a Roman Catholic in faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband: Antoni in 2001; a grandson: Dennis Cutrona in 2016; and four sisters: Jean Parco, Phyllis Esper, Natalie Willy and Joan Bossart.
Amelia is survived by five children: Rose Clifford, Cranberry Twp.; Ann Sabo, Baden; Sally Cutrona, Brighton Twp.; Anthony (Judi) Martinez, Las Vegas; Amanda Martinez, Brighton Township; eight grandchildren: Sierra, Neil, Sarah, Anthony, Raymond, Jennifer, Jessica and Anthony; four great grandchildren and one on the way; one brother: Joseph Zaradzki and his wife “Sis” of McKeesport; two sisters: Eleanor Klemmer and her husband George; and Dolores Marlene Smiller all of Crafton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC.,273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
