

Born October 19, 1944, in Rochester, he was the son of the late Bernard R. Sr. and Mary V. Vorderbrueggen Pratte. Bernie retired from Fluor Corporation, formerly St. Joe Minerals, in 2008 after 30 plus years of service. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1971 and was stationed in Okinawa. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Beaver Falls where he served on the board of trustees.
Surviving are his loving wife Rebecca Fezell Pratte, son Aaron (Julie) Pratte of Westville IN, daughter Sarah (Chuck) Kelley of Cranberry Twp., step-daughter Lisa (Rick) Huntley of Kennedy Twp. PA, step-son Scott Harrison of Houston TX, three grandchildren; Kieran and Emma Kelley and Casey Pratte, five step grandchildren; Elaina, Kaitlyn, and Meghan Huntley, and Alexander and Michael Harrison, five sisters; Donna Jean Liebentritt, Linda (Tom) Keeling, Rita (Paul) Clark, Phyllis (Richard) Carcaise, Diane (Maurice) Darbyshire, three brothers; Ronald (Kim) Pratte, Gary (Debbie) Pratte, and James (Leigh Ann) Pratte, four brothers-in-law; Edward Hagg, Michael Lodovico, Donald (Mary Lee) Fezell, and John (Connie) Fezell, and two sisters-in-law; Ann (Robert) Frantz and Beth (Wayne) Medford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Rosemary Haller Pratte, an infant son Matthew, and two sisters; Carol Hagg and Mary Ellen (Bee Bee) Lodovico, a sister in law Peggy Javens and a brother in law Robert Javens.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff of Apple Blossom Memory Care for the care and comfort they gave to Bernie. All services were private and handled by the SAUL - GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68 Rochester (Adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.)
