David G. Watts, age 70, of Midland, passed away on December 25, 2020 of a sudden illness, at East Liverpool City Hospital, East Liverpool, Ohio. Born February 3, 1950, in Weirton, WV, he was the son of the late William Watts and Lenna Eurka. David was a former bus driver for BCTA, and was a diesel mechanic for ASII. David was also a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served in Viet Nam, where he was a machine gunner for Airborne 101st.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marcia (Schuffert) Watts; one son, Erik (Dawn) Watts; one daughter, Lisa (Chad) Helmininack, four grandchildren; Erika Watts, Chad Jr., Reilly, and Gia Helmininack. Also surviving are a brother, Bill, and a sister, Carol.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, December 31, from 11am until the time of funeral services at 1pm at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
