Doris J Withers

Doris Jean 'Zora' Withers, age 92, of New Sewickley Twp. passed away peacefully in her home on June 30, 2021. She was born on May 25, 1929, in Unionville, PA. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Edith (Householder) Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Withers (2011); her sister; Thelma (Harry) Boyd; a brother Paul (Becky) Miller; a son, Larry Withers; a daughter, Darlene (Dennis) States.

She is survived by 4 grandchildren; Vicki Withers-Lee, Eric Withers, Kelly (Christopher) Triplett, and Kari States; a daughter in law; Kim Withers-Pavlinich; seven great grandchildren; Dustin, Julia, Alec, Jase, Brooke, Morgan and Kaleb. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Doris was a devoted member of the Unionville United Methodist Church. She was a 50+ year dedicated employee of Retzer printing company. Doris enjoyed bowling, fishing, traveling, camping, and playing cards with her friends and family. She enjoyed conversations while sitting on her front porch with her long time friend Jackie Neal. Doris had started her mornings with her love of coffee and cookies. The family would like to thank the Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia nurses for their compassionate care and support. A very special thank you to Arthur and Kaleb Stewart for their exceptional help for all of her caretaking needs.
