Edward L. 'Ed' Baxa, age 54, of Wampum, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born October 16, 1967, in Rochester, he was the son of the late Frank and Lillie (Martin) Baxa. Ed worked for over 30 years for VEKA in Fombell, he loved the outdoors and hiking, and riding his motorcycle. He was a big Pittsburgh Penguins fan, and a Liverpool Soccer fan.
He is survived by two sons; Chase (Audrey Kenney) Baxa of Exmore Virginia, and Kurtis Baxa of Butler. Also surviving are three sisters; Patricia (Ron) Petrella, Cathy (Rick) Brown, Caroline (Ken) Purvis, and one brother; Michael (Joan Marie) Baxa Sr. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday, December 6, 2021, from 12 noon until the time of funeral services at 4 pm at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Interment will immediately follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
