Gerald Mountain

Gerald C. Mountain, age 87, of Aliquippa, passed away on Christmas Day, with family by his side at Rochester Manor and Villa in Rochester. Born October 21, 1938, in Huntingdon, PA, he was the son of the late William and Blanche Mountain. He attended First United Methodist Church in Aliquippa, he worked for years at Chuck Galton Ford as a mechanic, he retired from the Hopewell Area School District from the maintenance department, where he was President of the Union for the department. Jerry was an avid bowler, bowling in multiple sanctioned leagues at Sheffield Lanes and Center Township Bowling Lanes. He was an active member of Sassy Seniors, a singing and dance group.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the late Mary (Milliron) Mountain, a son, Ken Wagner, three brothers; Jack, Cloyd and twin brother George Mountain, five sisters; Blanch Holibaugh, Dolly Zambory, Betty Watkins, Anna Smith and Jane Harley.

He is survived by two daughters; Sandi Parrish and Mary Beth Dishler, one son, Jim (Laura) Wagner, five grandchildren; BJ, Joseph, Jeremy Parrish, Nick and Jacob Dishler, and fourteen great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Monday, December 29, 2025 from 12 noon until the time of funeral services at 2pm at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. Entombment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
