A New Year has begun. Its been 5years and 3months now. Since you been gone. I moved on with my life. I'll never marry again. but I still do love. A lot has changed since you left. I moved out of our home we made together. The memory's I took with me. Your ash's are with me still. I still cant let them go. They will go with me when I die. Its been a yr now, we who care, think of you often and are reminded of you with a facial expression from one of your grandchildren, a song, or maybe something made us laugh because you were such a humorous person and so loved humor ,and you were brought up in a conversation. Thomas is still sad, as well as your mom and sister, and of course myself. Someday we will also find our "stairway to Heaven", hopefully you will be one of the many who will greet us. Till then, hugs.

Lane, your birthday comes soon. You are in my thoughts almost daily. We all who knew you well and love you most, miss you terribly.  Mya asked me the other day..grandma is Pappap Lane in heaven. I responded, why yes he is Baby..he is our Angel now.

It is so hard knowing that you are gone. Yesterday Maria and I were going to call you about some Birthdays coming up.   Thomas did the same thing..he was going to raz you about," who did you vote for." I state from the bottom of my heart..you were a wonderful man. We grew apart, then grew back together as friends and parents of Tom. Thank You Lane..you always had big heart.

I've known Lane for about 20 years and he was a good man. He always had a smile for everyone. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family.

Lane was a good man, and a family member I regret that I did not get to see as often as I should have. Whenever I would come in to town and had the opportunity to spend some time with him, I enjoyed his company greatly, since he reminded me so much of my own dad, his brother, Dean. I'll miss him, and hope that the 2 brothers are reunited and looking down on us, proud of what they left behind.
