

Lula Belle Smith, 80, of Monaca, Center Township, passed Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. She was born February 8, 1937 in Lyons, Georgia, daughter of the late Guy and Mary (Cooper) Crowe. In her younger years she enjoyed canning and baking. Most important to Lula was the love and support of her family.
In addition to her parents, Lula was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years: Charles W. Smith, Sr.; a daughter; Carol A. Smith Iser; granddaughter: Melissa; two brothers: William Crowe and H.D. (Henry Donald) Crowe; one sister: Clara Mae Creech .
Lula is survived by her son: Charles W. Smith, Jr., Center Township; four daughters: Linda L. Smith, Center Township; Mary Jane Sciaretta, Coraopolis; Tina L. Walters, Monaca; Nancy L. Smith, Georgia; 13 grandchildren: Mandi, Jessica, Samantha, Teresa, Steve, Kayla, Diana, Maria, Tony, Chrissy, Jenni-Melissa, David-Ronald, and John-Paul; numerous great grandchildren; one brother: Sidney F. Crowe, GA; two sisters: Delores (Robert) Anderson, GA; Louise Montgomery, GA; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In honor of her wishes, cremation arrangements are by the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. Following her cremation, she will be inurned with her late husband Charles.
