Patricia A. Mavero, age 85, of Patterson Township, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at her residence. Born May 8, 1939, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late David and Emma (Harper) Hockenberry. She was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone for over 30 years, and following that, she worked at WalMart in Chippewa until her retirement. She loved crafting, crocheting, coloring, and building miniature model houses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Emanuel Mavero, one son, Dennis Wimer, one daughter, Candice Mavero, one sister, Norma Jean, one brother, Rev. James Hockenberry, and a daughter in law, Deb Wimer.
She is survived by two sons; Chuck Wimer, and Dale (Sherry) Wimer, one daughter, Stacey Wimer; one grandson, Chuck (Jamie) Wimer, one granddaughter, Shayna Wimer, and three great grandchildren; Sophia, Grace and Matthew Wimer.
As per Patricia's wishes, all services were private and entrusted to the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saint Jude's Children's Foundation, or the 700 Club.
