Richard Cunning Jr.

Richard Cunning Jr., age 61, of New Brighton, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, with his wife by his side. Richard was born December 13,1960 to the late Richard William Cunning, Sr. and Patricia (Eaton) Cunning. He leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years who he met on a camping trip Mary Ruth (Lentz) Cunning. His children April Fennell-Reid (Scott Turiczik), Matt Fennell (Teresa Picarro, Andy (Rachel) Fennell and his four-legged companion Peppa. Rick will be missed by his grandchildren, Matthew, Tessa, Sara, Aubrey, Isabella, Landon and Gracin. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law Fay (Summers) Wilde

He was adored by his sisters Terry Lynn (Terry) Seybert, Tina Dixon (Bill Oehling) and his in laws Rick (Buttons), Tom Lentz (Kathy Whelan), Bill Lentz and Donna Beery. Rick was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, his work family at AmpTech, Inc, extended social family and dear friends at Baker's Buck Hut, 68 Feed Mill and Jimmy K's.

He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army serving our county honorably. He served as a Ground Surveillance Crewman. A graduate of Point Park University, he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. Rick worked for 25 wonderful years at AmpTech, Inc. in Wampum as an Electrical Engineer/Production Manager.

Rick a true jeopardy genius he enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers, Nascar Racing, Reading, Trivia and a healthy dose of witty sarcasm. "I can't believe it; I get better looking every day".

Rick will be remembered as the most beautiful, kind, compassionate loving soul you could ever meet.
