

Shirley Ann Small, age 92, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at her residence. Born, December 6, 1931, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Rose (Lauber) Raab. Shirley loved to read, enjoyed needlepointing, playing the piano, and, what was most important to her, was her kids, and her family. She was a member of College Hill United Methodist Church. Shirley was the past president of the Juvenile Diabetes Association, she spent years as a Registered Nurse, and, later in life a Rehabilitation Specialist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, her high school sweetheart, the late Joseph J. Small, one granddaughter; Addaleigh A. Huzyak; two brothers; Joe and Frank Raab, and three sisters; Viola Ruby, Jean Coates and Bertha Donnelly.
She is survived by one son; Jeffrey R. (Lorraine) Small, and two daughters; Julie A. Lendick and Joan M. (Timothy) Rose. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Jeb J. Huzyak, Mackenzie M. (Mike) Fosnaught, Shannon R. (Timothy) Weick, Sara R. Small, and three great grandchildren; Bailee, Bryar and Brooklyn Fosnaught.
Friends will be received on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 1pm until the time of funeral services at 3pm at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA, 15074. Burial will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
