Betty J. Staab, 81, of Rockford passed away on Sunday November 29, 2020 at Carriage Rehab & Healthcare in Rockford. Betty was born on January 5, 1939 in Torch, MO the daughter of William and Lena (Shichles) Hawks. Betty worked as a caregiver in Healthcare. She loved keeping in contact with all her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her sons: Mr./Mrs. William Lawing and Kevin Colton; sister Helen Tucker; brothers Rev. Jim and Rev. Bob Hawks; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Betty was preceded in death by her parents William "Bill" and Lena; 2 sons: Tommy Lawing and Keith Colton; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Due to covid pandemic, memorials services for Betty will be at a later date.
