Beverly Blair, 85, of Rockford passed away Tuesday August 24, 2021 at Serenity House in Oregon, IL. Beverly was born in Rockford on January 25, 1936, the daughter of Russell and Ruth (Roland) Miller. She married Maynard “Gus” Blair on April 15, 1979. Beverly was affiliated with the Lutheran Church and worked beside her husband Gus as secretary of Blair Aviation. She loved cooking, baking, bicycling and was an avid golfer and bowler with her husband Gus. She enjoyed going antiquing; she was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend. Beverly is survived by her sons: Mike (Vonna) Benhoff and Brad Benhoff; daughter: Julie Pry; step-children: Holly Blair-Cascio, Mike (Sue) Blair and Cassie Blair; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Service to celebrate Beverly’s life will be 11:00 am on Monday August 30, 2021 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church 920 Third Ave. in Rockford; visitation for Beverly will be from 10:30 am until time of service at the church.
