Bobby G. Putz, 80, of Rockford passed away Tuesday November 3, 2015 at Presence St. Anne Center in Rockford.
Bobby was born on December 11, 1934 in Grand Tower, IL, the son of Frank and Jessie (Bishop) Putz. He married Barbara Hermann and she preceded him in death. Bobby was an automotive mechanic and a Veteran of the U S Army. He loved to go fishing and hunting with his sons. His favorite hobby was “scratch off” lottery tickets and his country music. He loved playing cards with his family and friends and going to the donut shop. Bobby was a kind, generous, hardworking and loving person and will be missed by all.
Bobby is survived by his children: Russell (Julie) Putz, Steve Putz and Theresa (Bradley) Miller; grandchildren: Kiri (Todd) Bruder, Marc, Amber, Justin, Miriah and Austin; great-grandchildren: Leoh, Jackson and Kayden; special niece Dee (Jim) Burt; many other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lisa, infant son Terry Putz, granddaughter Kasi Putz, several brothers and sisters.
Private services will be conducted by Advantage Funeral Home.
