Bobby L. Shawver, aged 74, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025. He was born on February 22, 1951 in Rockford, Illinois to Joseph and Mildred (Ritchie) Shawver. Bobby was a man of faith, he enjoyed reading his Bible and providing his friends and family with devotionals.
Bobby is survived by his daughters, Stacy (Jeff) Mannix and Diana Mullarkey; and grandchildren, Alexis, Kiersten, Katie, Tyson, and Meghan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mildred Shawver; and brothers, Larry, Steve, and Greg Shawver.
A memorial service for Bobby will be held Monday, December 1 at 2:00 pm at Advantage Funeral Home, 7000 W State St, Rockford, IL 61102.
