Carol Ann Spatafora

Carol Ann Spatafora, 65, of Rockford passed away Friday, May 20. 2022 at Javon Bea Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Carol was born on June 26, 1956 in Marquette, MI; the daughter of Tracy John and Sarah Eleanor (Short) Sparks. Carol loved fishing, traveling and riding in the truck with her fiancé Shane. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids, she lived life to the fullest.

Carol is survived by her fiancé Shane Morarend; daughter: Jerry (Mark) Farbo; grandchildren: Jayde (Calvin) Reilly, Kierra (Ricky) Jordan, Jacob (Bailey) Farbo, William (Cassie) Farbo, Tempa Farbo and Natalia Farbo; 8 great grandchildren; siblings: Alice (Bobby) Parker, Mary (Gary) Mercure, Violet Hendrickson, John Sparks, Betty Keaster and Susie Bateson; several nieces and nephews, who she loved as her own.

Carol was preceded in death by her Parents: Sarah Spatafora, Tracy Sparks; Sister: Rosie Koski; Step-father Sam Spatafora.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Carol’s life will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Advantage Funeral Home 7000 West State Street in Rockford.
