Connie Sue Wright

Connie S. Wright, 52, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully, Sunday evening, June 2, 2019 after a long illness. She was born May 13, 1967 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Daniel and Lois Evelyn (Jenkins) Wright. Connie attended Auburn High School. She was employed by Lutheran Social Services of Illinois as a homecare assistant until her illness. Connie enjoyed the outdoors, horses and butterflies. She enjoyed watching her nephew’s softball games. Most of all, she adored her son and her grandchildren.

Connie is loved and missed by her son, Daniel (Sarah Rady) Wright; grandchildren, Darrin, Daman, Amelia and Jennifer Wright; siblings, Crissy Johnson, Tammy (Don) Bellars, Debbie Kamberi; nieces and nephews, Christina, Tabitha, Larry, Brandon, Randy, Aaron and Christopher, great-niece, Olivia, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Larry Johnson, maternal and paternal grandparents.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2019 at Harvest Fields Church, 5620 Auburn St, Rockford, IL 61101, with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family.
