Evelyn Keller

Evelyn Keller, 87, of Rockford, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, July 17, 2016. Born March 16, 1929, in Rector, AR; daughter of Jessie “Jack” and Rosie (Norris) McKinney. Married Herman “Buck” Keller. He predeceased her in 1985. She worked in Sarver’s Nursing Home as a CNA and even took care of the elderly in her home after the nursing home closed to help support her four children. Flower gardening, antique and resale shopping were a few of her favorite pastime activities. Member of Riverside Assembly of God Church. She was a devoted Christian and taught her children how to live with good Christian values. Her family was her pride and joy.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy (Jim) Moore; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Keller; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; siblings, Cecil (Evelyn) McKinney, Bill (Shirley) McKinney, Corinna (Ralph) Jones, Ruth (Reed) Overstreet, Jackie (Russ) Caltagarone; sister-in-law, Julie McKinney. Predeceased by her parents; spouse; children, Jessie Keller, Danny Keller, Steve Keller; brother, Jim McKinney.
