Evelyn Swanberg, 86, of Rockford, IL died August 24, 2010 at River Bluff Nursing Home. Born March 19, 1924 in Rockford, IL. Evelyn Irene (Noll) Swanberg grew up in the Rockford area and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. She met and married Robert Edgar Swanberg, Sr. in 1946. They had two children, Robert Jr. and Marilyn. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, her husband Robert, her daughter Marilyn and her brother Robert P. Noll. She is survived by her son Robert (Rev Judy) in Plantation FL, grandson Erik of Plantation, FL, son-in-law Jon Morlen of Ft. Wayne, IN, sister-in-law Phyllis Noll and nephews Stephen and David Noll both of Rockford. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Willwood Burial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent in Evelyn’s honor to River Bluff Nursing Home.
