She was employed at National Lock Company for 30 plus years where she worked in various positions throughout her employment.
Florence enjoyed Square Dancing with various dance groups.
She is survived by two sons, Gary (Karen) and Dallas (Ann) Utech of Rockford; daughter in law, Betty Utech of Scottsboro, AL; sister in law, Betty Johnson of Freeport; six grandchildren, numerous great and great, great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Earl Johnson, Santa Rosa, TX, and Francis Johnson, Freeport; son, Terry H. Utech; and a grandson, Terry Jason “TJ” Utech, Scottsboro, AL.
