Jodi Lynne Meyers

Jodi Lynne Meyers, aged 68, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025. She was born March 5, 1957 to William and Dorothy (Jacobs) Getty in Freeport, Illinois. Jodi worked for many years as an LPN. She married the love of her life, Tim Meyers, on November 16, 1985 in Rockford, Illinois.

Jodi enjoyed trying every hobby and craft she could get her hands on, if there was an artistic element to it, Jodi was sure to have tried it. She liked canning, crocheting, and embroidery. She loved her family and friends, Jodi always gave the biggest hugs and you never left her house without a gift. She also loved her fur babies.

Jodi is survived by her husband of 39 years, Tim Meyers; children, Amanda (Alan) Schuetz, Thomas Davenport, Alison (Halo Hyde) Meyers, and Alexus (Akeem) Jack; granddaughters, Hannah Pollack, and Rose Jack; mother, Dorothy Getty; siblings, Janet (Scott) McMahan, Leanne Getty, Lisa Schuetz, William Robert Getty, and David James Getty; nieces Tiffany Menard, Sarah Gunn, and Krystal Schuetz and nephew Bryan Schuetz along with numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Getty; brother, Thomas Edward Getty, brother-in-law, Doug Schuetz, and niece, Aileen McMahan.

A service for Jodi will be held on Tuesday, September 16 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Advantage Funeral Home, 7000 W State St, Rockford, IL 61102. Cremation rites will be accorded at a later date.
