She graduated from Auburn High School in 1974 and worked at Crimson Pointe Senior Living for 10 years. Sue loved to care for others, enjoyed computer games, and spending time with family and her patients. She was very eclectic with her hobbies.
Sue is survived by her children, Kimberly (Bill) Phillips and Kristopher (Kristina) Dehart; and siblings, Debbie McCrillis, Karol (Joe) Wenstrom and Robert Stevens Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sophia, Julia and Mitchell and her companion dogs; Sampson and Molly.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kelly Dehart and a sister, Becky Haiman.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family.
Funeral service will be held at 12pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 7000 W. State Street, Rockford. Pastor Carol Harrington will be officiating. Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm. Interment will be at Willwood Burial Park.
