Lois, 81 of Rockford, IL went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2014. Lois was born on May 24, 1933 in Olden, MO., the daughter of Walter and Bessie Wood. She married Richard L. Lingelbach on July 3, 1952 in Salem, IL.
She is survived by her son: Lonnie Lingelbach (Angie) of Rockford, daughter Kathy (Kevin) Voss of Dallas, TX. three grandsons: Brian (Debbie) Lingelbach, Matthew (Jodi) Lingelbach and Korey Voss (Eryn); one granddaughter Kortney Voss (Jonathan); two great-grandsons: Cobey Lingelbach and Kyle Lingelbach; two great-granddaughters: Brianna Lingelbach and Ashley Lingelbach; one brother William (Donna) Wood of Ft. Worth, TX.; two sisters Walsa Akright of Escondido, CA. and Louise (Robert) Davis of New Caney, TX and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Lois was predeceased by her husband Richard, parents Walter and Bessie, sister Emma Jane DuBose.
Graveside service to celebrate Lois’s life will be Saturday August 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Willwood Burial Park 7000 West State St. in Rockford. Advantage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be sent to www.advantagerockford.com
