Magdalena "Maggie" Guerra, age 74, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025. She was born August 4, 1950 in Mexico, the daughter of Matia Guerra Galvan and Maria Enrigueta Rodriguez. Maggie was a devoted member of the Salvation Army. She enjoyed knitting, especially making blankets and scarves. Maggie was an extraordinary cook. Most of all, she was an amazing grandmother to her granddaughter, Natalynne. She was loved and will be missed.
Maggie is survived by her sons, Carlos Reyes, Juan Reyes and Victor Reyes; granddaughter, Natalynne; and her sister, Linda. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Maria and Blanca, brother Victor and nephew Efren Yeverino.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Willwood Burial Park, 7000 W. State St, Rockford, IL 61102.
