

Rose F. Miller, 98, of Rockford passed away December 9, 2010 at her residence. Born October 13, 1912 in Minarca, AR to Fred and Neelie Taylor. She grew up in Palatka, AR. Rose married Burrel Miller December 3, 1927. He died in 1963. She lived in Naylor, MO for many years before moving to Rockford in 1950. She was a homemaker most of her life, but worked part-time at the Pump Handle Club for a few years after her husband’s death. She was a very loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family anytime she could. She lived a faithful Christian life and worshiped God regularly her whole life. She was a member of 20th St. Church of Christ for more than 50 years. Thanks to her good friend Opal for providing a ride to and from services for many years and thanks to Margarette for being such a good friend and neighbor for over 50 years. Survivors are, sons, Glynn Miller, Glastonbury, Conn., Gary (Cindy) Miller, Rockford, daughter, Mary Lue Hall, Rockford, daughter-in-law Linda Miller, Rockford, Grandchildren, Jeff(Rita) Hall, Teresa Heiken, Todd (Shawn) Miller, Chris Miller, Jacob (Amy) McVay, great grandchildren, Casey (Chris)Enna, Danielle Hall, Jennifer and Sasha Heiken, Melissa (Adam) Keip, Allison Miller, Hanna and Mia McVay, and several step-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents, sister, Christeen, brother, Carlos, son, Melton, son-in-law, Lewis Hall, daughter-in-law, Marilyn Miller, daughter-in-law, Ginny Miller and great granddaughter Lauren Miller. Funeral services will be 4:00 pm Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 7000 W. State Street. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Private burial will be at a later date
